Andrew & Theresa have renovated this barn into an enchanting property which includes two double en-suite guest rooms with their own patio area.

Both rooms are furnished to a very high standard and include the following - bed linen, towels, hairdryer and tea and coffee making faciliies.

A solar heated swimming pool is available and includes a heated outdoor shower. There is a large oak decking area and plenty of sun loungers, chairs and tables to relax on during a hot summers day (as well as a couple of hammocks).

Andrew has also created a wonderful summerhouse which features a four person jacuzzi spa, as well as a kitchen area, which has a sink, cutlery, crockery, glasses etc. BBQ is also available.

Beauty Treatments

Theresa is a qualified Beautician and is able to provide treatments within her Treatment Room at La Grange Ancienne from facials to aromatheraphy.

Tarif

There are two double en-suite rooms available for a charge of €35 for two, including continental breakfast.

A full English breakfast is available for an additional charge of €7 per person.

Dinner is also available for a charge of €14 per person for a three course meal which includes a bottle of wine per couple. Vegetarian and gluten free diets catered for.

We have owned the property since 2005 having previously renovated a Mill House in Confolens.

There is a small village nearby at Montrollet, where there is a bar/restaurant situated close to the picturesque lake, which is within walking distance.

Situated within the highest point of the Charente, Montrollet and its surrounding area offers excellent walks (randonees) through the forests and around numerous lakes or alternatively if you prefer not to put on your walking shoes, you can always explore the area on two wheels!
